OSSA Méthode Traditionnelle 2018
93 points
A blend of 68% / 32% pinot noir/chardonnay. Pale in the glass with an energetic bead and mousse. Aromas of green apple, grapefruit and lemon tones combine with hints of riverstone, white flowers, toasting brioche, lemon curd, white chocolate and liminal suggestions of mushroom broth and nougat. Dry, focused and pure with nice tension and interplay between the pure apple and citrus fruits and the minerally acidity, finishing long with memories of spiced apples. $90, Drink – 2033
OSSA ‘Belbrook’ Grüner Veltliner 2023

Grüner veltliner from the Bellbrook vineyard on the East Coast of Tasmania; fermented in French oak then transferred to stainless steel. Pale with green flashes and aromas of white peach, nashi pear and grapefruit along with hints of wildflowers, white pepper, crème fraîche, stone, fennel and a peek of almond blossom and mountain herbs. Crystalline in its clarity and drive with impressive tension and minerality, it’s a great example of a variety showing much promise in Tasmania. $60, Drink – 2029
